RECIPE:
Ingredients:
Crostini Base (lightly toasted) – 12nos
Cream cheese – 100g
Honey-1 tablespoon (more if you like it sweeter)
Mulberries – 100g
Peeled pomegranate -100g
Walnuts – 5 – 10 numbers
Mango pineapple and chilli jam –50g (or any other jam you fancy)
METHOD:
The one with fruits:
1. Add honey to the cream cheese and whist till it’s well incorporated.
2. Smear about ½ a teaspoon (or a whole one if you like) of the sweetened cream cheese on each crostini base. (Don’t forget to lick the spoon clean when you’re done.)
3. Delicately place the mulberries, pomegranate and walnuts on the top in any arrangement you like. Chopping the walnuts helps but chopping the mulberries gets really messy.
4. Try different combinations of fruits, berries and nuts… It’s a fun experiment that rewards you with a snack.
5. After your masterpiece is assembled grate some chocolate shavings over it. You can try using different graters to get different kinds of shavings.
The one with jam:
1. Make sweetened cream cheese just like we mentioned above
2. Smear ½ a teaspoon (or more if you like) of the mango, pineapple and chilli jam. Try other jams too. You can’t go wrong with this one.
3. Just like before, grate some chocolate shavings over it. Pause for a few seconds to appreciate what you created just before you devour it.
